
Warranty Coverage and Exclusions
Only original Pure-EVs replacement parts are used for warranty repairs. These parts meet our strict quality and safety standards to ensure your eTrike’s performance and resale value remain protected.
Coverage
Pure-EVs New eTrike Limited Warranty
Covers the repair or replacement of any parts found defective due to manufacturing or material issues within the warranty period. Authorized dealers will repair or replace these parts free of charge—regardless of ownership transfer during the warranty period.
Parts Warranty
Only original Pure-EVs replacement parts are used for warranty repairs. These parts meet our strict quality and safety standards to ensure your eTrike’s performance and resale value remain protected.
Corrosion Protection Warranty
The original body of your eTrike is covered against perforation for 3 years (36 months) from the warranty start date.

Note: Surface rust from scratches, stone chips, or similar damage is not covered. Other exclusions may also apply.
Exclusions
Pure-EVs New eTrike Limited Warranty
The following items are not covered under the Pure-EVs New eTrike Limited Warranty unless directly caused by factory defects:
Maintenance & Wear-and-Tear Items

Regular servicing of electrical or control system devices

Cleaning of the system

Wheel balancing and alignment

Adjustment of clutch or brakes

Removal of rattles, squeaks, and tightening of components

Keypad batteries (if fitted)

Replacement items such as:

Batteries/air filters
-
Emission control valves
-
Spark plugs
-
Wiper blades
-
Engine and other belts
-
Hoses
-
Brake and clutch linings
-

Addition of lubricants
-
Repair/replacement of trim, paint, dents, scratches, or appearance items
Tires
Repair or replacement of tires due to:

Normal wear and tear
-
Cuts, snags, bruises, bulges, or impact damage (curbs, potholes, etc.)

Punctures or tire repairs
-
Improper inflation, misalignment, or mounting/dismounting
-
Tire chain damage, racing, driver abuse, or excessive spinning (mud/snow situations)
Wear and Tear Examples
To avoid confusion, here are common examples of wear and tear that are not covered by warranty:

Brake pads thinning from regular use

Tires losing tread over time

Paint fading due to sun exposure

Small scratches or dents from daily driving

Worn-out wiper blades

Rust spots from stone chips or scratches

Battery capacity gradually decreasing with age

Noise or squeaks from normal use of moving parts
